Thick and thin hat, another 1 skein project :)

 Being a begginer knitter forever, I try to use fun yarns for simple projects like this hat.
You will need :

1 skein of thick and thin corriedale yarn (ours is about 56 yards)

20 mm knitting needle 

Thick needle

  Cast on 40 stitches 

  Row 1 : knit all the stitches

  Row 2 : purl all the stitches 

  Repeat rows 1 and 2 until you reach row 18

  Row 19 knit 2 stitches together until the end of the row. 

  Cut a threar of a meter long and pull it through the loose stitches, pull  tight and  sew , this is really easy due to the texture of the yarn :) weave in the ends and you are all done, stay warm with this pretty and easy thick and thin hat! 

Textured Stitch (Rice Stitch)

I learned this stitch from my mom, and it was such a simple instruction that got stick in my brain. I love the texture it has and how different it looks with the yarns I've knitted  using it. I called textured stitch, some clients have told me it's the simple rice stitch or just rice stitch. 
Using 1 Skein of  Monona Yarn  and 6 mm. knitting needles  made this skinny  scarf that's 10 cm wide and 194 cm long
